    Below are the number of days that trekkers usually take to successfully ascend and descend. An extra day of acclimatization is always recommended.

    RONGAI ROUTE: (6 DAYS TREK )

    The Rongai Route is one of the easier routes and has very few people on it.

     

     

    MARANGU ROUTE :( 5 DAYS TREK

    This is the “Coca Cola” Route.It is the shortest and easiest trek in the mountain and the only route where people sleep in huts.

     

     

    LEMOSHO ROUTE :( 8 DAYS TREK)

    Lemoshois the longest of the outfieldroutes, and sometimes regarded as the second timers Kilimanjaro route, although it is also for anyone with an appetite for a quieter trail and a more remote atmosphere.

     

     

    MACHAME ROUTE (6 DAYS TREK

    The “Whiskey Route” is longer but more scenic

     

     

    UMBWE ROUTE (7 DAYS TREK )

    This is a short but more difficult route
